This is the second report of a series of studies on the adaptive processes in the Department of Human Environmental Studies at Nagoya Sangyo University. Some results of the first study, which appeared in Naito et al. (2005), suggested that the students coming to our newly established department in 2004 have only superficial understandings of human environmental studies and environmental studies. In this paper, taking Naito et al. (2005) as our point of departure, we present results of the survey conducted in April, 2005 to the same students as we did from September to October in 2004 and discuss the adaptive processes since then. In order to see whether the results of the previous questionnaires are specific to the students in question, the same questionnaires are also conducted to the students who newly entered our department in 2005. These data will be used to contribute to the advance of the human environmental studies as well. |
