During consecutive sunny days, daytime sensible heat flux did not show rapid increase from day to day over the modeled urban canopy with vegetation. Analysis of the model simulation clearly indicated this was due to the vegetation's ability to subtract water in deep soil layer and to use it for evapo-transpiration.
